Numerous books and eBooks are sold each year with new diets for better health. Diet has been implicated as the culprit in many chronic diseases including heart disease, cancer and high blood pressure. Although the word diet probably brings to mind a strict regime of lettuce and cottage cheese, by definition, "diet" refers to what a person eats or drinks during the course of a day.

Regular physical activity helps to control your weight by using excess calories that otherwise would be stored as fat. Exercise also helps prevent many diseases and improve your overall health.
